Consideration of the application by Island Gas Ltd, to drill up to two hydrocarbon wells on land off Springs Road, Misson in Bassetlaw, was adjourned at the Planning and Licensing Committee meeting on 5 October.

The adjournment was made to enable the committee to receive legal advice on a late representation by Friends of the Earth.

Prior to the suspension of the meeting, councillors heard presentations from County Council planners, Misson Parish Council, Frack Free Nottinghamshire, Island Gas Ltd and members of the public.
