Love was in the air at a Valentine’s Fair in Costhorpe in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Lots of local people turned up at the Costhorpe Centre, and a fantastic total of £338 was raised.
“We had a really good day, by 12 o’clock the place was packed,” said Ray Dernie, who organises the charity’s local fund raising events.
“The raffle and tombola alone raised £114, and the challenge to guess how many sweets were in the jar was also very popular.”
Valentine’s cards and cakes were also sold so people could treat their loved ones.
Ray added: “Alzheimer’s is something that doesn’t get enough attention, but we’re hoping to change that by holding more events like this.”
