Wednesday, April 20, 2.30pm. A chance to meet and listen to Worksop poet Jacqueline Gabbitas. Jacqueline Gabbitas makes rich use of the language of Nottinghamshire where she grew up. Not only is poet Jacqueline Gabbitas from Worksop but her poetry has drawn upon the local Worksop dialect she grew up with. Don't miss this chance to hear this home grown poet and find out what the Worksop dialect is. Tickets are £3.

Saturday, April 26, 11am to 2pm, take part in a family art event called the Inspire Garden. Learn a new skill with a professional artist and create some work that will feature as part of an exhibition. Combine creativity with local knowledge and make Worksop’s giant flower artwork the brightest bloom in the border. This is a drop-in activity suitable for all.
