COMMUNITY: Library - The Big Friendly Read
Every Thursday at 11am throughout the holidays children can join in with Roald Dahl inspired drop-in activities at the library. Look out for the Roald Dahl inspired displays in the library which children can help to decorate, stand in front of our wall chart to see which Roald Dahl character you measure up to, take part in hunt the character competition running throughout the summer to win Roald Dahl goodies and vote for your favourite Roald Dahl book.
Parents and other adults don’t need to miss out on the fun either because this year Worksop Library is running a reading challenge just for you. Read six library books alongside your children and be entered into a draw to win one of the fantastic prizes, which includes your choice of tickets to some September events, as well as other goodies. Pick up your collecting card when your children join and see who can finish their challenge first.
