A Clowne man has been jailed for a series of offences and breaching a community order.

Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard how Gavin Frank Williams, 23, of Barlborough Road had been handed a community order last July for growing cannabis, but had breached it three times. He admitted the offences.

On 14th December 2013, after being ejected from the CornerHouse pub, police saw Williams urinate in public. He was told to leave, but was later seen heading for Disraeli’s bar.

He had also missed probation appointments, blaming a family bereavement and the cost of bus travel to Worksop.

He was jailed for eight weeks, fined £70 and made to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
