Crews from Clowne, Staveley, Chesterfield and Bolsover were called to the blaze which took two hours to put out.

Once the flames were out, fire investigators were able to determine the cause of the blaze and concluded it had been started by a fault with a piece of electrical equipment in the property’s lounge.

No-one was injured in the blaze as the property was empty at the time with owners away at a different address.
