Clowne: Derbyshire Police launch appeal after fights

Derbyshire Police are appealing for information following a number of disturbances in the Clowne area.

The incidents happened between 10.30pm on Saturday, 23rd November, and 12.45am on Sunday, 24th November.

There were reports of fighting in the Mill Street and High Street areas, and near to the Nags Head public house and local takeaways.

As a result of the disturbances, a 24-year-old suffered a cut to the head, and received treatment at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, and a 17-year-old male suffered a black eye.

Two 19-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and a 16-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

All three people have been bailed pending further enquiries.
