Chloe has stars in her eyes

A WHITWELL teenager needs your help to get through to the next round of a national beauty pageant.

Chloe Carrington is competing against girls across the UK in the hopes of being crowned Miss Teen Princess UK.

The competition is especially important for 13-year-old Chloe, who has gone through a tough couple of years.

“There was an arson attack on our home in 2010 and we were out of the house for 12 months,” said mum April.

“And then Chloe lost her father suddenly in June last year.”

“It’s hopefully our turn for some good news.”

Chloe signed up for the competition at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham and was invited down to London for a photo shoot.

“I like taking photos and modelling is a career that I’m interested in,” said Chloe. “Going down to London for the photo shoot was really good fun and gave me a good idea of what being a model would be like.”

Voting ends on Wednesday 15th February at 11.30pm.

The top two girls with the most votes from each of the two age groups, 13-15 and 16-19, will go through to the live finals in September 2012. To find out how to vote for Chloe visit the www.teenqueenuk.com website.
