Children enjoy an egg-citing Easter

EASTER was celebrated in schools and nurseries across Gainsborough in colourful and energetic style.

Children at Francis Olive Anderson Primary School in Lea created traditional Easter bonnets - and don’t they look a picture?

At Benjamin Adlard Community School in Gainsborough pupils transformed everyday eggs into works off art.

Meanwhile others took advantage of the warm weather and went outside for some festive fun.

An Easter sports day at Misterton Primary School saw children literally hopping around like bunnies as they competed in various races and games.

And at other schools the playgrounds provided great hiding places for Easter egg hunts.

Judging by the smiles on these kids’ faces, they had lots of fun and were looking forward to their holidays.
