Charity night for Wayne

GENEROUS-HEARTED folk enjoyed a special charity night at The Innings Pub in Prospect to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The night, which was held in memory of Wayne Fox who died suddenly in September 2010, raised £875 for the charity.

It followed a similar event held at St Joseph’s Club in Wayne’s memory in February last year which raised £1,395 for the children’s hospice, based in North Anston.

Wayne’s mum Denise Grainger said she was very grateful to everyone who showed their support on the night.

“My thanks go to everyone - it was a fantastic night and raised money for a great cause,” she said.
