Charity in driving seat at fundraising bash

Vauxhall dealer Perrys of Rotherham raised £265 for two local hospices after holding a charity Christmas party.

The retailer raised money for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Rotherham Hospice by organising a number of festive treats.

While parents enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies, children visited Father Christmas in his grotto for an extra special Christmas present. And if that wasn’t enough, the famous Shazam magicians amused kids and adults alike with a magic show, balloon modelling and party music.

Darren Ardron, general manager at Perry’s of Rotherham, said: “We were delighted to see so many friendly faces at our Christmas Party, and we are thrilled to be able to raise such a substantial amount for these charities.”

“The Christmas party was a great opportunity for us to be able to show how much we care about local charities, and how much we love getting involved in the community.”
