Charity disco raises cash for hospice

THE psychedelic 70s came back to Worksop recently at a charity fancy dress event.

St Joseph’s Catholic Club on Wingfield Avenue hosted the 70s themed pie and pea supper and disco to raise money for Bassetlaw Hospice.

“We raised £1,395 on the night, which was great,” said organiser Nigel Cutts.

“Wilkinsons donated prizes that were raffled off on the night and everyone had a really good time.”

The club held another 70s themed night with pie and pea supper on Saturday 11th February, with all money raised from that event going to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
