‘Chaos’ hits Ryton Park
PARENTS have voiced concern for their children’s safety over Ryton Park’s decision to close the school’s car park.
The announcement to shut its gates to parents wishing to drop off and pick up their kids from school came in last week.
Cars now line the streets near its Sparken Hill entrance during the school rush, prompting concern for pupil safety.
But the school say there have been a ‘large number’ of near misses in the car park since it opened in September.
