
Three writers will chat about the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction live on stage at the library and there will also be the chance to take home a free book.
Hosting the night will be Sarah Ward, a crime fiction writer, reviewer and blogger, whose debut novel, In Bitter Chill, is set in the Derbyshire Peak District where she lives.
Also taking part will be Megan Taylor, a Nottingham-based writer whose first novel How We Were Lost was published by in 2007.
She is also the author of The Dawning, a domestic thriller set over the course of a single night, and The Lives of Ghosts, which tackles inheritance and motherhood.
The third member of the trio will be Aly Stoneman, a poet and poetry editor at Leftlion Magazine, who won the 2015 Buxton Poetry Prize and is a commissioned poet for the Lyric Lounge and Guardian Award-winning project Dawn of The Unread.
The event takes place on Tuesday, May 24 and tickets are £4 from the library.
The event is for over-18s only.
