Caught with heroin twice by officers

A 35-YEAR-OLD man caught in possession of diamorphine on two separate occasions has been fined £140.

Michael Dyson, from Carlton Road, Worksop, admitted to both charges which occurred on 22nd July and 23rd November respectively.

On the first occasion, Dyson hid four wraps of heroin in undergrowth along Sunny Bank, Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard.

Police then went to his home, almost four months on, with a search warrant and found another stash in his bedroom. Dyson said it was for personal use.

David Verity, defending, said: “He accepts he was in possession of a small amount of heroin.”
