Cash boost for learners

Gainsborough branch of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (ROAB) ended their year of fundraising with a cheque presentation.

A grand total of £1,450 was raised for Gainsborough Enterprise Learning Disability Centre during 2011.

Grand Primo for the year was Brother Paul Oughton who raised the amount with help from his fellow brothers.

Helen Jervis from the centre thanked the group for the financial support, and said it would go a long way to helping the students.

ROAB is a social and benevolent organisation which aids members in need, widows and orphans of deceased members, and supports external charities.
