Cartlton-in-Lindrick: Woman pleads guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Bassetlaw A&E

A woman has pleaded guilty to being drunk and abusive in the A&E department at Bassetlaw Hospital.

Terri-Ann Parrish, 20, of Northumberland Avenue in Carlton-in-Lindrick admitted shouting and swearing at staff and police.

Defending, Mr David Verity said: “She had fallen out with her sister and then gone upstairs at the house they shared at the time and drunk a large amount of whiskey.”

“She then fell down the stairs and injured herself, meaning she had to go to hospital.”

“She is very embarrassed by what has happened and is full of remorse.”

At Worksop Magistrates’ Court, she was fined £80, plus £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
