Carlton man arrested after teen is shot

A Carlton man has been arrested after a teenage boy was shot in the leg with a pellet gun.

The 46-year-old, who was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, has been bailed pending further enquiries.

It follows an incident in Sycamore Road, Carlton, near Worksop, at around 2.50pm yesterday (Friday 12th April 2013).

The 15-year-old victim was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital with minor injuries.

He was discharged later that day and is recuperating from home.
