Carlton: Celebration of young people at Youth Centre
A celebration of the great work that young people do in the community is being held at Carlton Youth Centre on Saturday.
Organised by Youth the Truth, there will be fun activities, stalls and games for people to interact with on 10th May from 11am-5pm.
There will also be an introduction to Youth the Truth.
The campaign aims to change the negative perception of youngsters in the media.

It has found that 76 per cent of media coverage on young people are negative and 80 per cent of youngsters believed an unfair portrayal in the media lead to strained relations with older generations.
It wants to help change the stereotype, highlight the positive work youths do and to show society that the majority are caring and lawful citizens.
The youth centre is based on Lawn Road, Carlton-in-Lindrink, Worksop.
