car wars!

CLASSIC cars made a pit stop just outside Retford for the 101st Monte Carlo Rally.

A range of vintage models were on show at Ye Olde Bell Hotel, Barnby Moor, as the drivers pulled in on their way to Dover before travelling on to Monaco.

More than 200 car enthusiasts made the effort but despite the weather conditions being good, many competitors were late arriving and there were a number of breakdowns and non-arrivals.
