Cannabis found during raids

ArounD £10,400 worth of cannabis plants were recovered during drugs raids in Maltby.

Officers from Maltby Safer Neighbourhood team raided several homes during the week of 30th January.

At one property officers found 18 cannabis plants, while at another they discovered eight cannabis plants growing in a bedroom. At another they seized equipment for growing cannabis.

Several people were arrested under the Misue of Drugs Act.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police will not tolerate drug cultivation or supply and will robustly take action against offenders. Contact your local Safer Neighbourhood Team in confidence with details of drug activity or call Crimestoppers anonymously.”
