Burglary suspect arrested in Bircotes

A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary in Bircotes.

Officers arrested the 37-year-old in the Herriot Grove area at around 12.40pm today.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman: "Officers and the police helicopter were in the area looking for someone in connection with a burglary and we arrested a man."

The spokesman was unable to provide any further details but said more information may be released tomorrow.
