Burglars target Clowne

POLICE are appealing for information following three burglaries in Clowne on the same night.

The first one is believed to have taken place at around 10.30pm on Wednesday 30th November.

The front door of a flat on North Road had been forced open and some surround sound speakers had been stolen.

At 10.40pm on the same evening a 63-year-old woman living in Chapel Close disturbed two men in her house after hearing a noise.

Police were also called to Gray Street at around 11.30pm after reports of a loud noise. A house had been broken into and a TV and a laptop were stolen.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to contact them.
