CAPTURE the beauty of Bassetlaw Council’s Parks this autumn and you could win prizes of up to £150.

There is still time to enter the council’s photo competition, which is open to amateur photographers of all ages in two categories - Under 16’s and Adults – and runs until 31 December 2012.

You can enter up to three photographs of the following council parks - Kings’ Park in Retford, The Canch in Worksop and Langold Country Park.

There are no creative boundaries and your picture can be a stunning landscape, people enjoying the park or even something out of the ordinary.

Portfolio holder for environment and leisure Coun Julie Leigh said: “You don’t have to be an expert photographer to take a great photo and we’re looking forward to seeing some fantastic pictures of our parks.”

Our expert panel of judges will choose a winner, second and third in each category and an overall winner.

For full details and competition terms and conditions, visit the council’s website www.bassetlaw.gov.uk and click on the photo competition poster, or call 01909 534525.
