Bolsover: Get a taste of adventure this summer

Bolsover District Council’s Adventure Fest is back – and promises to be even more fun packed than ever with a host of new activities on offer.

Taking place on Sunday, 20th July at Pleasley Vale Outdoor Activity Centre, the Adventure Fest is free and open to anyone aged seven or older.

It will include activities such as canoeing, climbing and zorbing to laser tag, mountain biking and abseiling.

The council’s Extreme Wheels Roadshow will also be there hosting activities such as BMX biking, skateboarding and, new this year, BMX sidehacks and slacklining.

Also making an appearance will be Extreme Wheels demo rider Keelan Phillips, who will wow the crowds with awesome tricks and stunts.

Bolsover Council’s cabinet member for social inclusion, Cou Ann Syrett said, “The Adventure Fest has always been a fantastic day out for friends and the whole family, with activities to cater for everyone.”

A signed parent consent form for anyone under the age of 18 is required to participate in the activities, which can be obtained, along with an information pack, from the website at www.bolsover.gov.uk
