Body found Shireoaks Marina named

A Notts Police spokesman said officers are supporting his family at this distressing time.

“A file has been prepared for the Coroner. Thank you to all those who helped in the search,” she said.

The discovery was made by the police underwater search team, through use of Home Office sonar equipment, at Shireoaks marina on Wednesday last week.

Mr Johnson, 61, went missing from the marina, where he lived on a boat, on Tuesday 4th December.
