Blyth: Spiderman, Fireman Sam and The Gruffalo all come to school for World book Day

“They all got dressed up as their favourite characters from their favourite book and brought the book in with them for the day,” said school treasurer Sarah Agar.

“The staff joined in too , dressing up as characters like the Cat in the Hat.”

“The children absolutely loved it, they love the chance to dress up and getting to come to school wearing costumes really appealed to them and it enabled us to get them to enjoy the beauty of books.”
