Bid to crackdown on yobs terrorising visitors to Worksop park

Residents are being asked for their views on a proposed crackdown on paragliders, model aircraft, drones and motocross bikes terrorising visitors to a Worksop recreation ground.

Bassetlaw District Council is consulting on whether to introduce a public space protection order that would cover the recreation ground on Blyth Road, known locally as the Showground. The PSPO would prevent these activities taking place in the area for a period of three years.

Residents have until February 3 to complete the survey which can be found on the council’s website.
