Benji kids scoop top prize
CHILDREN from Benjamin Adlard Community School in Gainsborough are celebrating after being awarded the Unicef UK Rights Respecting School Award.
PSHE teacher Debbie McKay said she was thrilled that the school had been recognised for its efforts.
“We are delighted to be one of few schools in Lincolnshire to have gained this award,” she said. “For many years our school has regarded rights, responsibilities and respect as core values, so when we heard about this award scheme we thought it would enhance all of our hard work.”
She added: “We look forward to further developing awareness of these values both in school and the wider community.”
