Be bike safe
LINCOLNSHIRE Police have launched Operation Octane to prevent and reduce motorbike crashes on the county’s roads.
The campaign, in partnership with BikeSafe and Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, aims to raise awareness of safe motorbike use.
Unmarked motorcycles will target bikers breaking the speed limit, while Operation Stealth will target high end offenders whose behaviour poses risk to themselves and others.
Signs will also be used to highlight the number of collisions on the county’s roads.
