Bassetlaw: Strike action will see council offices closed and services affected

Due to industrial action on Thursday, 10th July, Bassetlaw Council’s offices in Worksop, Retford and Carlton Forest, including A1 Housing’s property shops, will be closed to the public all day and there will be a reduced level of council services.

Residents with Thursday bin collections will have their bins collected from on Monday, 14th July and will be permitted an additional bag of side waste.

The areas that affected are Misson, Scaftworth, Scrooby, Everton, Mattersey, Holbeck, Cuckney, Nether Langwith, Norton, Rhodesia, Shireoaks and in Worksop, Manton, Mansfield Road, St Anne’s Estate, Stubbing Lane and Water Meadows.

Council operated cemeteries will remain open, however, there will be no burials on this date.

Bassetlaw’s leisure centres, parks and open spaces will also remain open, but the splash pool in the Canch will be closed.
