The accolades for long-term service were presented to nine volunteers by Bassetlaw District Councillor Jim Anderson and royal voluntary service manager John Jewitt at a ceremony at the hospital in March.

The volunteers were praised for their services at the Bassetlaw Hospital shop, coffee shop, outpatient department and orthopaedic department, as well as providing a vitally important link for patients with a ward trolley service which operates 364 days a year.
