Bassetlaw: Recruitment day for experienced nurses

Hospital bosses at Bassetlaw hospitals are looking to recruit experienced nurses at an upcoming recruitment day.

The Trust is hoping to attract experienced band five nurses in a range of area that include general, acute and emergency medicine, care of the elderly, orthopaedic, theatres and surgery.

Richard Parker, director of nursing, midwifery and quality, said: “We are looking for nurses who not only have the qualifications and experience, but who also share our values of putting the patient first, and treating everyone with courtesy, honesty, respect and dignity.

The open day, on Wednesday 4th June, 10am-4pm, takes places at the Education Centre at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Qualified band five nurses will be able to complete an application form on the day with the possibility of being interviewed at the open day or a later date.

Newly qualified nurses are also welcome.

There will be the opportunity to tour the wards and departments.

There will also be a chance to speak to other nurses from all department areas.
