Bassetlaw: New funding schemes available for local businesses

Several funding sources are available from Notts County Council

A business plan along with an application form (available on request) will be required in the first instance.

Businesses in the Bassetlaw area can also access funding and support through the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership.

There are a variety of programmes available programmes ranging from skills training to capital investment schemes.

Other funding sources include the First Enterprise scheme, which offers small business loans of up to £50,000, business start-up loans now available to over-30s as opposed to just 18-30s as before, and funding from Nottingham University Environmental Technology Centre.

The Notts Economic Development Capital Fund, Local Business Lending Partnership, Regional Growth Fund – Unlocking Investment for Growth, Nottingham Investment Fund and the Government-funded Growth Accelorator are also all viable sources of funding for local businesses.
