Businesses in the Bassetlaw area can also access funding and support through the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership.

There are a variety of programmes available programmes ranging from skills training to capital investment schemes.

Other funding sources include the First Enterprise scheme, which offers small business loans of up to £50,000, business start-up loans now available to over-30s as opposed to just 18-30s as before, and funding from Nottingham University Environmental Technology Centre.

The Notts Economic Development Capital Fund, Local Business Lending Partnership, Regional Growth Fund – Unlocking Investment for Growth, Nottingham Investment Fund and the Government-funded Growth Accelorator are also all viable sources of funding for local businesses.
