“After the family had grown up I was able to resume my painting interest and subsequently, I have been trained and mentored by several professional artists over the last 20 years in order to develop my style.”

“I belong to four local art groups in order to maximise exposure to different ideas and maintain practice including plein-air painting and life drawing sessions.”

“Influences include Alfred Munnings and Edward Seago, while of the current art scene, painters like Ken Howard and David Curtis are particular favourites.”
