Bassetlaw: Hospital urology team are stars of the month

With referrals up by 12 per cent since last year, every member of the team has pulled together to put on extra clinics, many of which ran into the evening and at weekends

The team were nominated for the by Ben Gray, general manager for the urology unit, who said: “This team has been remarkable, they have faced some unprecedented pressures and tackled them with no fuss.”

Sister Sue Wormley, who received the award on behalf of the team said: “What a surprise – it’s just brilliant.”

“It really means a lot and we have worked hard to make sure our patients the service they deserve.”
