Bassetlaw: Council say they are playing catch-up with bin collections
Residents in Bassetlaw might have to wait longer than expected to have their bins collected due to the recent snow.
Bassetlaw Council has said that it has fallen behind but expects to catch up on the delays at New Year.
A spokesman said: “The recent snow has created some minor problems on our roads and in our communities across the district, including Christmas bin collections.”
“Due to the snow and ice, it has also been impossible for refuse teams to collect bins from certain streets in the district for safety reasons.”
