Councillor David Pressley, portfolio holder for community prosperity said: “This year’s event promises to be one of the best ever and has something for all the family. We hope as many people as possible will be able to join us in this celebration and make it a very special countdown to Christmas.”

Proceedings will get underway at 1.30pm with the opening of the Christmas Market and music from Trax FM, along with other attractions such as a Santa’s grotto, fairground rides, a mobile climbing wall and a Christmas message from council chairman Ian Campbell.
