Barlborough: Cash stolen from shop by man believed to be carrying a knife

Detectives are appealing for information after cash was stolen during a robbery at a shop in Barlborough.

At around 7.20pm on Monday 19th May, a man believed to be carrying a knife, entered Spar on Ash Close and demanded money from the cashier.

The staff member opened the till and the offender reached in and took money and put it into a bag before leaving the shop.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The offender is described as around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build and wearing jeans, a black hooded top and light coloured footwear. His face was covered.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw someone fitting this description in the area around the time of the incident.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call Bolsover CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
