Awards £2k for charity

THE HUGE success of this year’s Gainsborough Business Awards has raised over £2,000 for a local charity.

The glamorous event was organised by Langley’s Solicitors and took place at the White Heather in September.

Langley’s have just announced that the evening made £2288.75, to be donated to the College House Fund based at Queen Elizabeth High School in Gainsborough.

The Gainsborough Standard were proud to be involved in the event, sponsoring the Best Customer Service category.

“Not only was it both a pleasure and a privilege to be involved in celebrating the best of Gainsborough’s business talent, but it’s excellent to see that so much money was raised for such a worth cause,” said editor Chris Burton.

“I would like to thank and congratulate Langley’s for all of their efforts.”
