Aurora charity cheque

Flexible fundraisers have raised £197 for a local charity after holding a pilates event.

Members of Evolve Pilates presented the cheque to the Aurora Wellbeing Centre just before Christmas.

“We very much appreciate the support given to the Aurora Wellbeing Centre and would like to thank the group for their generosity,” said fundraiser Sally Richardson.

Aurora aims to support people diagnosed with cancer to face the world with confidence.

Once open, the Worksop Centre will offer beauty and therapy treatments for patients and their families. It will also have a tea-room, gentle gym, chic charity shop and conference centre.
