Aughton: Post Office to close for modernising and refurbishment next month

The refurbished Aughton branch will have three serving positions. One will be a modern screened position, one will be open-plan and the other will be a Post Office serving point at the retail counter where selected Post Office services will be available, even when the Post Office counters are closed

Opening hours at the modernised branch will be 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday with selected services available from the combi-counter during shop opening hours which are 5.30am to 9pm, Monday to Saturday and 6am to 9am on Sundays, offering customers an extra 61 hours and 30 minutes of Post Office services every week.

Aughton Post Office will close at 5.30pm on Tuesday, 8th July and the new-look branch will then re-open at 1pm on Thursday, 24th July.
