Aston: Students discover more about history of hall
Aston Academy students have visited Aston Hall to discover more about the families who owned it.
Their trip comes after the school introduced a house system, with the four houses named Melton, Darcy, Verelest and Furnival, who all had links to the hall.
Ann Key gave a presentation on the four families to the house captains, who also toured the hall.
Other students are taking part in a competition to design a booklet for the hotel, detailing its history and the families, which will be available for guests.
