Assault charge
A GAINSBOROUGH man has appeared in court charged with assault and possession of a hammer.
Matthew Brumby, of Enderby Crescent, is alleged to have assaulted the man occasioning in actual bodily harm on 7th May and had a hammer in Lord Street.
The 45-year-old did not enter a plea and will appear again at Lincoln Magistrates Court on 2nd November.
