Arrests made in cyclist robbery

THREE teenagers have been arrested in connection with a robbery near Rother Valley Country Park.

A 53-year-old cyclist was travelling along the Trans Pennine Trail when he was robbed at knife point, around 12.50pm on Tuesday 4th September.

Police said the arrested teenagers were all 16-years-old and from the Beighton and Westfield areas of Sheffield. They were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
