Apply now for Rotary Club funding

Several years ago the club established a community fund.

Once again, members are asking groups and organisations in the Worksop area to come forward if they need support for a project.

A spokesman said: “We will consider all applications providing they demonstrate how it helps locally and why they need our help.

“The club has been active in helping the local community since 1928 and acknowledges the generosity of the public.

“The club takes nothing for administration as all our funds go directly to what its members believe to be good causes.”

Any group or organisation wishing to apply for funding will need to complete a simple application form which can be obtained by contacting Rotarian Peter Swinscoe on 01777 703996 or at [email protected]

The form asks about the work of the group or organisation as well as why support is being applied for and the amount requested.

The deadline for returning application forms is September 26.

Successful applicants will be notified shortly after that.
