Hope Community Services have received a donation from Ordsall Spiritual Centre in Nottinghamshire of £344.50 which will go towards the move-on accommodation for those in crisis.
Hope is a charitable organisation that supports individuals in n crisis. It operates Nottinghamshire’s only 24/7 directly accessible hostel, where someone can knock on their door and get a bed for the night.
CEO of Hope, Alan Diggles, said: “It’s incredibly reassuring when local organisations express their support for us in this way.
“It not only demonstrates their commitment to help those from the local community, but allows us to work with more people.”
The new facility on Queen Street, right in the centre of town will be a six bed shared property. The residents will carry on receiving support from HOPE’s staff team, to ensure that individuals continue to work through the challenges that got them to their point of crisis.
