Anglers land a big haul for Worksop charity HOPE at 24-hour fishing event

Two volunteers at HOPE have raised Â£160 from a 24-hour sponsored fishing event.

Volunteers undertook a 24-hour fishing event for Worksop charity HOPE

The two men, Wayne and Ash, undertook the challenge to help raise awareness and funds in aid of HOPE’s 20th anniversary.

The money will be used to help those who are homeless and in crisis.

Jo Blemmmings, retail manager at HOPE, said “I am really proud of Ash and Wayne, for doing such a challenge, to help raise awareness and funds for us.

“This year is a big year for HOPE, as it marks 20 years since we first opened.

“I am looking forward to more activities throughout the year”.
