Anacondas get a win

THERE were no real surprises in the first week of Gainsborough and District Table Tennis League’s new season but it was disappointing that only three cards were handed in from six matches played and team captains are reminded that scorecards must be handed to the records secretary within 48 hours of matches being played.

All players are reminded they must renew their ETTA licence (by website, post or via the league secretary) and inform the secretary of their licence numbers.

Results: Division One - Anacondas 6 (Karl Wynne 3, Jim Wynne 3), Dynamics 4 (Neil Clayton 1, Ray Lovely 1, Barry Hodgson 1, plus doubles). Division Two - Dingos 2 (Josh Croft 1, Dan Davies 1), Batmen 8 (Mark Longstaff 3, Ken Eliot 3, Matt Longstaff 1, plus doubles); Kestrels 2 (Dave Mason 2), Dynamics 8 (Jon Colley 3, James Cooper 2, Mark Leaning 2, plus doubles).
