Altercation on Riseholm Road

A police spokesman said: “At around 2.45pm on 22nd of July an altercation occurred outside the community centre on Riseholme Road involving the male driver of a white Mercedes van which had blacked out rear door windows and a 15-year-old local girl.”

The driver is described as being in his 20s, wearing shorts and sandals but no top.

The van stopped at the junction of Middlefield Lane and Foxby Lane a short time later and the driver was seen out of the van.

Anyone who may have seen something should contact Gainsborough CID on 101 quoting incident number 288 of 22nd July.
